Amateur Radio License and Testing Information
Exams will be administered on July 12th, 2008. The location of the exams will be Gladstone City Hall, Gladstone, Michigan. Exams will be at 9:00 AM (Eastern Time). Pre-Registration is not required. Bring with you a copy of your license as well as the original. You will also need to bring with you two forms of identification, one form must have a picture. Amateur Radio Classes
Classes to assist newcomers interested in obtaining their amateur (ham) radio license are usually offered in the Spring. Check this website often for details on the next class offering. The purpose of the training is to help individuals pass the 35 question FCC test. Morse code is no longer a requirement, there is no age limits and previous experience or training is not needed. The training is offered free of charge by the Delta County Amateur Radio Society. Pre-registration is not required.
