Amateur Radio License and Testing Information
Exams will be administered on July 11th and October 10th, 2009. The location of the exams will be at the Gladstone City Hall, located on Delta Ave.Gladstone, Michigan. Exams will be at 10:00 AM (Eastern Time). Pre-Registration is not required. Bring with you a copy of your license as well as the original. Amateur Radio Classes
Classes to assist newcomers interested in obtaining their amateur (ham) radio license will be offered starting March 2nd, 2010. The classes will be held in room MS-123 at Bay De Noc Community college. The classes will be every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7 to 9 PM. The purpose of the training is to help individuals pass the 35 question FCC license test. Morse code is no longer a requirement, there are no age limits and previous experience or training is not needed. The training is offered free of charge by the Delta County Amateur Radio Society. Pre-registration is not required.
